Various wrestling media outlets seem to believe it's inevitable that Adam Cole will soon trade WWE's NXT brand for AEW Dynamite. Now, The Daily Star are keen to add fuel to the fire by digging up comments recently made by Britt Baker about the situation.

Britt was crystal clear when asked if Cole would jump to AEW 'just for her'.

The reigning AEW Women's Champion deftly pointed out that others in the company, like Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, have more history with Adam in a wrestling context than she does. Sure, they're real-life lovers away from the ring, but Britt doesn't think that'd be the sole reason for Cole wanting to sign on the dotted line with Tony Khan's operation.

Good point - Cole was a member of The Bullet Club before signing with WWE.

If anything, she thinks that he'd be more enticed by working matches with his old buddies than invading her turf for the sake of it. In a nice moment, Baker said that she didn't really care where Adam works so long as he's happy.
