Mick Foley has responded to AEW's Britt Baker's in-character shot at him on last night's episode of Dynamite, doing so after the All Elite standout referenced the praise Foley had thrown her and Thunder Rosa's way after last week's headline-making Lights Out match.

Here's what Baker had to say on Foley:-

"I don't need the praise and admiration from legends and experts telling me I'm worthy, that I'm a star now. Mick Foley, thanks for the thumbs up... except it took you 20 years to become a hardcore legend and I did it in one night."

The former Cactus Jack took it to heart:-

It's all good, in-character fun, of course. Baker is one of the most outspoken heels in North American wrestling and this was a typically great promo from her, showing that even though she ended up losing to Thunder Rosa, she didn't really lose anything at all.

Britt's diatribe also saw her rip Tony Khan for signing ageing legends while she stands tall as the biggest star in the company, while also claiming that Rosa should be thanking her for her newfound relevancy.
