Brock Lesnar And Seth Rollins Angle Tonight On WWE Raw

SummerSlam match could be moved forward to Battleground.

Brock Lesnar is set to return tonight on WWE Raw and could start his angle with Seth Rollins, Dave Meltzer reports on Wrestling Observer Radio. The original plan had been for the Lesnar versus Rollins match at SummerSlam, but it could be happening on the July 19th Battleground show. Meltzer isn't fully aware of WWE's plans for Lesnar, which isn't surprising when you consider how private Brock and WWE's top brass are. Rollins and Lesnar shot their angle the night after WrestleMania, with the WWE Champion running away from the Beast Incarnate. If they do wrestle at Battleground, it may be the case that they do an immediate rematch at SummerSlam. Brock's return should make Raw a captivating show. It would usually make sense for WWE to promote the comeback ahead of time, as a way of capturing a big audience. However, as of right now, WWE aren't acknowledging that Lesnar will be there tonight. His first date back is still listed as next week on the June 22nd show. By using the element of surprise and having that return tonight, WWE are after a pop moment that will resonate with the fans and create a hot buzz. The Lesnar / Rollins feud is almost certain to deliver a classic in the ring.
