Brock Lesnar will put his WWE Championship on the line against Ricochet at Super ShowDown on 27 February.

This was confirmed on last night's episode of Raw. Ricochet wrestled Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley in a number one contender's main event and wrapped the match hitting his 630 Splash on 'The All Mighty,' then scoring the pinfall. He didn't have time to celebrate, though: Lesnar jumped Ricochet after the bell, nailed him with an F5, and held the WWE Championship high above his head to close the show.

Lesnar vs. Ricochet joins SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day vs. The Miz and John Morrison on the Super ShowDown card.

A smart piece of booking, this. Not only does it give Lesnar an awesome fill-in opponent ahead of WrestleMania 36 and Drew McIntyre, but it gives Ricochet a spotlight and follows up on recent interactions between the two, with Brock destroying 'WWE's Resident Superhero' on the Raw before the Royal Rumble, only for the high-flyer to assist McIntyre's elimination of 'The Beast' with a low-blow in the over-the-top-rope battle royal itself.

Raw also brought confirmation that Becky Lynch will defend her Raw Women's Championship against Asuka next week, NXT Champion Rhea Ripley challenging Charlotte Flair for 'Mania, and Ruby Riott's return after nine months out.
