Brock Lesnar's WWE Return Revealed?

When might the 'Beast Incarnate' Brock Lesnar return to screens?

Speaking on Sports Talk 970, Paul Heyman has hinted towards Brock Lesnar's return date.

"Maybe, maybe he has been waiting for the live events, and maybe he'll choose Houston to make that return. Or maybe not, because Brock Lesnar is going to do whatever Brock Lesnar wants to do."

Houston is the first date - July 16 - on WWE's live tour return.

Should this prove to be the case, the obvious first choice of opponent is Roman Reigns, and that the prospective match doesn't incite feelings of for-f*ck's-sake-not-again-man dread is a real indication of how well the Tribal Chief has been promoted.

The one match WWE kept doing but could never get right has become one of WWE's preeminent dream matches in 2021. Reigns is not Lesnar - nobody is - but he's also exceptional at getting his new persona over as a sh*t-kicker. The Lesnar Vs. Reigns dynamic was always lopsided. Very dramatic at its violent best, but lopsided, and less and less credible each time. This new dynamic could conceivably go 50/50 in layout without feeling contrived.

Paul Heyman is Paul Heyman, so don't take his word for it. This tease jars with credible reports that John Cena is Roman's SummerSlam dance partner. In any event, things are feeling big-time once again. At the likely expense of the full-time roster, but still.

They're knackered anyway.
