Having defeated Miro at last night's AEW Full Gear PPV, Bryan Danielson has himself a guaranteed shot at the AEW World Championship.

In a belting back-and-forth encounter, the American Dragon was finally able to secure the victory after his continuous targeting of his opponent's neck. Having hit a top rope DDT on Miro, Danielson put the Redeemer to sleep with a Guillotine Choke.

Later in the night, the Full Gear main event saw 'Hangman' Adam Page beat Kenny Omega to become the new AEW World Champion - putting Page and Danielson on a collision course.

This year's AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament began on the 22 October edition of AEW Rampage, with Danielson's path to glory seeing him topple Dustin Rhodes, Eddie Kingston and now Miro. As for Miro, he entered the tourney as a replacement for Jon Moxley once it was announced Mox would be taking a leave of absence to enter an alcohol rehabilitation program. The Bulgarian Brute defeated Orange Cassidy to set up his Full Gear match with Danielson.

It remains to be seen exactly when and where we'll get Adam Page vs. Bryan Danielson, but it's clearly a match that many an AEW fan will be eager to see.
