Bryan Danielson will wrestle his first match in nearly two months this coming Wednesday on AEW Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen.

The news broke Saturday, with Bryan announcing during San Diego Comic Con that he will face the Jericho Appreciation Society's Daniel Garcia, with a promise to "kick his f***ing head in." The match was also plugged during Ring of Honor's Death Before Dishonor PPV.

Danielson last wrestled as part of the 10-man Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW's Double or Nothing PPV, during which he was injured. The American Dragon missed competing at Forbidden Door against New Japan's Zack Sabre Jr. Claudio Castagnoli made his AEW debut and defeated ZSJ in Bryan's stead.

That Danielson is coming back to face Garcia in his first match back says a lot about how he feels, as this will undoubtedly be a hard-hitting, technical bout pitting Dragon against a man Bryan once suggested as a potential trainee under himself and Jon Moxley.

Currently, the Blackpool Combat Club and Eddie Kingston have been embroiled in a war with the Jericho Appreciation Society, and this will be the next chapter. Garcia is coming off a loss against BCC's Wheeler Yuta for the Ring of Honor Pure Championship at Death Before Dishonor Saturday.
