Bubba Ray Dudley will return to WWE through the side door this evening, with the former ECW icon and recent Ring Of Honor star set to appear on The Horror Show At Extreme Rules' socially distanced watch-along.

He confirmed his spot on the (Zoom) production earlier today, and will join others including current NXT Champion Keith Lee, SmackDown stars Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville and fellow Hall Of Famers Lita, Mick Foley and John Bradshaw Layfield.

His advice and experience will no doubt be sought most during the Tag Team title match pitting The New Day's Kofi Kingston and Big E against Number One contenders Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura. The four will do battle in a tables match, with the champions bringing in Bubba's partner D-Von on the Kickoff Show for words of wisdom for their defence.

The Dudley Boyz were inducted to the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2018, but Bubba Ray himself hasn't appeared in an official capacity for the organisation since August 2016. He parted company with ROH in April this year after just over three years with the organisation.
