Bully Ray Slams AEW For This Wrestler's "Drop Off"

Tony Khan doesn't know how to book THIS wrestler, says ex-WWE man Bully Ray.

Ex-WWE star Bully Ray has slammed Tony Khan and AEW for mishandling Keith Lee since he joined the roster in early-2022.

Speaking via Busted Open Radio, Ray said Lee's "drop off" has been startling to see. The former Dudley Boy definitely think All Elite chiefs must take some of the blame, because they've shown that nobody in the company "truly understands Keith Lee, and how to write and/or book for him".

Ouch.

Bully suggested that Keith's last memorable match was a battle against Dominik Dijakovic back during his NXT run - he's referring to a cracking big man battle that kicked off TakeOver: Portland way back in February 2020. Two years later, Lee was out of WWE and en route to AEW, but Ray doesn't think the move has done him any good.

Seeking a solution, the legend suggested having someone like Mark Henry get in Keith's face on TV and attempt to light a fire underneath him. Ray believes it's important that a respected figure "reminds him about who he was for a brief period of time and what his potential really is".

He also thinks AEW must do more for Lee generally.
