Though advertised for WWE Raw Legends Night, Candice Michelle never appeared. Here's why.

Candice Michelle was one of many former WWE stars advertised for this week's special Legends Night edition of Raw, though a pre-show report from Fightful Select revealed that Michelle, along with Carlito, wasn't going to be at the tapings.

True enough, Candice wasn't on the show. Why? Because in her own words, she was "falsely promoted."

Speaking to Wrestling Inc., the former WWE Women's Champion said the following:-

"It was falsely promoted. I was never asked to be there. I would have loved to be there. I love WWE anytime they call me, super honored to go there and be called a legend. And as we know, for whatever rhyme or reason, I just wasn't meant for that show."

Michelle added that had she been there, she would have been "on the stage doing nothing with 30 other people who are much more famous than I am," saying that the situation was probably for the best.

Candice, whose initial WWE run stretched from 2004 to 2009, last appeared for the promotion as part of July 2019's Raw Reunion show. She became 24/7 Champion for a short time that evening, taking the strap from Kelly Kelly before dropping it to Alundra Blayze.
