Carlito Reveals What He REALLY Thought About His WWE Royal Rumble Comeback
WWE comeback king Carlito opens up about his return at the 2021 Royal Rumble.
Carlito enjoyed his WWE return at Sunday's Royal Rumble 2021 pay-per-view, but does think things could've been better.
The returning veteran spoke to company cameras shortly after completing his eight-minute comeback in the 30-man match - Carlito said that he found it "crazy" to be back in WWE. He also described the Rumble showing as a "great experience" overall, and loved the chance to catch up with some old friends from yesteryear.
Carly liked getting to network with some younger talents too.
He went on to reveal his one big regret: WWE couldn't get some fans into the building at Tropicana Field and give the event some natural ambience. Carlito said that it's "not the same" to work in front of LED screens (this was his first time sampling the ThunderDome), but was "humbled" by the response of fans on social media.
The former Intercontinental Champion looked great during his comeback. 24 hours later, he teamed with Jeff Hardy to beat Elias and Jaxson Ryker on Raw, which suggests that Carlito's 'Caribbean Cool' could be hanging around for a little while longer.
Fingers crossed he does.
