Cesaro has liked a tweet expressing extreme exasperation at his lack of involvement at WWE Royal Rumble 2022.

The tweet (which was originally found in Cesaro's likes by a Reddit user) features a gif of Cesaro scoop-slamming Big Show out of the ring to win the first Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXX, highlighting his prowess in such matches, and reads as follows:-

The 41-year-old led the list of notable absentees from the men's Royal Rumble along with the likes of Finn Balor, Apollo Crews, and Jinder Mahal, all of whom are currently full-timers on WWE television. Brock Lesnar ultimately won the bout, eliminating the returning Drew McIntyre last after arriving as a surprise entrant following his Roman Reigns/Paul Heyman-induced WWE Championship loss to Bobby Lashley earlier in the evening.

Saturday night was the second time Cesaro had missed the Rumble since 2019 (where he competed on the undercard), though he participated in both the 2020 and 2021 matches. The former United States Champion has been active in a loose tag team with Ricochet on SmackDown lately.
