Theres no doubt about it, Chael Sonnen is one of the biggest hype men in MMA history. If the American Heros latest comments are to be believed, he could very well have a future in the WWE. Speaking to Off The Records Michael Landsberg, Sonnen revealed how he and Wanderlei Silva have both been invited to this years WWE Hall of Fame event. Sonnen said, I got a call from WWE. They say, Look, we have a Hall of Fame show in March. If you want to come out, we want to talk to you about some stuff. They laid out at that. He then continued, If they are buying me a plane ticket and theyre given me a ticket to the show, I do enjoy that product. I dont know what we are talking about, but Ill give you a little scoop: Wanderlei Silva was also invited. I dont know if hes accepted and I dont know if the two are related, but there you go. In the past, Sonnen has made no secret of how he grew up as a pro wrestling fan and how that has influenced how he sells his fights. Hes also a good friend of CM Punks and someone who has often talked about how a professional wrestling run would be something hes interested in. Just what stuff the WWE would want to speak to Sonnen and Silva about, thats open to speculation, but could it be that we may finally get to see Chael Sonnen in a WWE ring in some capacity?
