Bayley has thrown down the gauntlet to face Bianca Belair at Extreme Rules next month, setting the stage for a Raw Women's Championship match that could change the course of the red brand's women's division.

Since returning at SummerSlam, Bayley's Damage CTRL stable has been the focal point of the division, so much so that Belair has only defended her title once since then, instead joining forces with Asuka and Alexa Bliss to combat the group.

At Clash at the Castle, Bayley pinned Bianca in their six-woman tag match, marking the first time Belair had been pinned in more than 300 days. This has become a talking point for the Role Model, who has insisted that she will choose the time and place to challenge for the Raw women's title.

That time came on Monday night, when Damage CTRL laid out all three rivals after Bayley defeated Bliss in singles action. Bayley issued the challenge after knocking the champ out with a Rose Plant.

This could certainly prove to be an interesting match, as Bayley still has a chip on her shoulder from last year when she couldn't wrest the SmackDown Women's Championship from Belair before going down with an injury.
