In yet another update on the current uncertainty surrounding Charlotte Flair, a new report suggests that the Queen may make her return to WWE TV on this week’s episode of SmackDown.

Fightful Select earlier reported that Flair will not be in attendance for tonight’s WWE Raw, and PWInsider now claims that there has been talk amongst WWE officials of having Charlotte appear on SmackDown later this week. At this stage, there’s no details whatsoever what Flair might be doing should she indeed be featured on Friday’s blue brand outing.

Many have speculated as to what is going on with the Women’s Grand Slam Champion right now, with Flair being absent from last week’s Raw before then being removed from the WrestleMania 37 tickets graphics over the weekend.

Whatever the situation is with Flair right now, the belief is that her WWE absence has nothing to do with any acting roles or with the recent release of her real-life fiancé Andrade.

Previously, all signs pointed to Charlotte challenging Raw Women's Champion Asuka at this year's Showcase of the Immortals, although those plans appear to be up in the air right now.
