Chris Jericho may not be the AEW World Champion anymore, but he is still quick to leap to his home promotion's defence when bad takes start flying around the internet.

The Inner Circle leader tweeted the following in response to a fan expressing their disappointment at the Blood and Guts Dynamite special's recent postponement:-

The personnel limit that Jericho mentions presumably only applies within a certain distance, as there was certainly more than 10 people gathered around ringside at various points during last week's Dynamite. His point stands, though.

AEW President and CEO Tony Khan broke the news that the Blood and Guts match was being postponed over the weekend. Khan claimed that the "circumstances aren't right" and that they'd reschedule the bout for somewhere later down the line, though he didn't know when, exactly.

Given what's going on around the world, it was hard to argue with this decision. WarGames matches are supposed to be all about the heat. You can't generate heat in an empty arena, no matter how entertaining the wrestler chitter-chatter at ringside gets, so AEW is wise to hold back on the match until they can deliver the right atmosphere.
