Chris Jericho has taken aim at Triple H for comments the new WWE chief made about AEW.

Trips brushed off suggestions that All Elite had toppled NXT by telling BT Sports' Ariel Helwani: "First of all, they beat our developmental system. Good for them". Jericho didn't like that one bit; during his own chat with ITR, the 'Demo God' refused to pull verbal punches by saying: "Who gives a sh*t? It’s such old news - and the show sucks. NXT sucks! It’s not a good show, and they know it!".

Shots fired.

Jericho was particularly unhappy to hear that Hunter had dismissed Dynamite's ratings success over NXT and directly caused the shift to NXT 2.0. He's also not a fan of WWE's colourful third brand, apparently. The, "NXT sucks" comment proves that!

Defending AEW further, Jericho also said that WWE's top brass are just p*ssed off that Tony Khan's league isn't going under or going away. In fact, he reckons, All Elite Wrestling will only continue to grow and become a bigger deal as time goes on.
