Chris Jericho: "I'm In Hall Of Fame In My Head" (AEW News)

WWE legend isn't worried about Hall Of Fame induction. It'd be nice, but he isn't obsessed by it.

AEW star Chris Jericho isn't obsessed by the thought of someday earning induction into WWE's Hall Of Fame. In fact, he has pondered whether or not he'd go into the All Elite HOF first. The veteran told TMZ Sports that he "understands how it works". If he's never put into WWE's elite class, then he says: "It’s not personal. I’m not insulted".

The rumour mill went into overdrive earlier this year before the Royal Rumble PLE over in Saudi Arabia. A lot of wrestling fans and critics alike believed it was only a matter of time before Jericho traded Tony Khan for Triple H to score a lucrative Rumble > Hall Of Fame > WrestleMania 42 journey that'd put a bow on his iconic career.

Instead, Chris stayed put on the AEW side and inked fresh terms with Khan. That put any talk of a WWE return to bed, at least for now, but Jericho's no fool - he knows that'll follow him for the rest of his career.

When reminiscing about "a blessed life", the Canadian veteran said: "I’m in the Hall Of Fame in my head, and in the heads of anybody that appreciates the work that I’ve done. That’s good enough for me, man". He's content with the matches, miles and memories he created during a 20 year stint with WWE. Not being inducted into the HOF couldn't possibly change any of that.

However, Jericho does believe that he's certainly done enough to merit inclusion into either the WWE or AEW wings.
