Chris Jericho KNOCKED OUT By WWE Star

As if squabbling in a hotel lobby with a WWE star wasn't enough...

AEW's Chris Jericho was reportedly knocked out by WWE star MVP during the Jericho Cruise back in January 2020.

Bodyslam.net's Cassidy Haynes reports that Jericho and MVP were involved in an altercation during the cruise, titled 'Chris Jericho’s Rock N’ Wrestling Rager At Sea – Part Deux: Second Wave.' The situation got heated, words were exchanged - and it escalated to the point of "MVP knocking out Chris Jericho."

Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp has added that he, too, heard the Jericho/MVP story just under a year ago:

Sapp's outlet reported in June 2022 that MVP and Jericho's friendship had broken down, owing to "social and political issues which were made public on Twitter." The duo were reportedly involved in a confrontation at a Houston, Texas hotel following a set of AEW tapings. MVP approached Jericho in the lobby, wanting to "handle or discuss their issues", allegedly inviting the former AEW World Champion outside to settle things. To this, Jericho entered an elevator, saying he "doesn't fight jobbers" as the doors closed.

As the knockout incident was four years ago, it's unlikely that either man is still losing sleep over it.
