Chris Jericho Wants THIS WWE Star In AEW

"He's an amazing wrestler, a great talker, and one hell of a guy as well."

Chris Jericho Samoa Joe
AEW/WWE

Chris Jericho has named WWE's Samoa Joe as somebody he'd love to see in All Elite Wrestling, doing so while spitballing on the most recent episode of his Saturday Night Special YouTube series.

'The Demo God' made his comments on the back of a viewer stating they'd enjoy seeing Joe in Tony Khan's promotion. "So would I," said Jericho. "I don't know if he is hurt right now or if he's not feeling good, but I'll tell you what, he's just an amazing wrestler, a great talker, and one hell of a guy as well. I would love to have him in AEW"

Joe is currently sidelined as an in-ring performer, having endured an injury-ridden 2020. A concussion suffered while filming a commercial in February forced him onto the treatment table prior to a 30-day suspension for violating WWE's Wellness Policy. The former United States Champion returned to the Raw announce booth in April and has remained there ever since, doing a sterling job while unable to compete.

"I don't know if he wants to go," Jericho added. "He might be hurt and he's a great commentator, so if he's going to come to AEW and steal my possible commentating job - forget about that."
