Christian Confirmed For Next Week's WWE Raw

Let's see if Captain Charisma is ready for The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever.

Christian will return to WWE for next week's episode of Raw, the promotion has announced.

The appearance was confirmed during last night's episode of WWE Backstage, with the former World Heavyweight Champion slated to host an episode of his old Peep Show segment. His guest? Edge.

Christian joins Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair on the list of legends brought in to hype Edge's upcoming clash with Randy Orton. Billed "The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever" by the promotion, it goes down at Backlash 2020 on 14 June. Next week's Raw is the go-home show.

Raw is also set to feature a decathlon segment pitting The Viking Raiders and Tag Team Champions The Street Profits against each other. The teams aren't currently booked to Wrestle at Backlash though the decathlon may lead to it.

This will be the first time Christian has presented the Peep Show since Raw 25 on 22 January 2018, when guests Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan were interrupted by their Royal Rumble 2018 opponents, The Bar. He has since inducted The Dudley Boyz into the WWE Hall of Fame alongside Edge, before becoming a regular panellist on WWE Backstage in October 2019.
