Christian has spoken out on the possibility of competing for WWE again, commenting on it during a recent appearance on Booker T's Hall of Fame podcast.

The former World Heavyweight Champion was asked if the return of his former tag team partner and close friend, Edge, had made him think about mounting a comeback himself. Here's a snippet (h/t Wrestling Inc.):-

"I mean, it's one of those things, right? It's a completely different injury. "You know... I'm pretty content with all that I've accomplished in WWE. I've pretty much accomplished everything I've ever wanted to do, except main event WrestleMania, and let's be honest - how many people actually get a chance to do that? It's one of those... I'm 46 years old, you know... and I had some concussion issues. It's just a matter of... you know, I don't see it happening. I'm medically disqualified. I just don't... I'm not sure how I would ever get cleared."

So even if the mind is willing, the body probably wouldn't be.

Christian slipped into a quiet WWE retirement amidst reported concussion issues in 2014. His last proper appearance came at Raw 25 in January 2018, though he currently operates as a semi-regular WWE Backstage contributor.
