Christian Suffers Knee Injury At WWE Smackdown House Show in Brussels

Christian has reportedly suffered a leg injury in Brussels, Belgium on Wednesday night during the SmackDown house show. In a match with Sheamus he went down early holding his knee and after a brief chat with the referee, he hopped onto one leg and quickly received the Brogue Kick for the finish. Christian was then assisted to the backstage area by WWE personnel in what was a legit injury. The injury is said to have happened pretty early in the match and cut it way short. To make up for it, Sheamus talked to some fans ringside, signed a bunch of autographs and posed for a number of photo's. Tonight (Thursday 10th November) the SmackDown crew are in Zurich, Switzerland at Zurich Oerlikon and then on Friday at Gdansk/Sopot, Poland at the Ergo Arena before finishing the European tour in Frankfurt, Germany at the Festhalle Frankurt arena on Saturday night. He is currently in a program with Sheamus and is next booked as part of Team Barrett's group of heels against Team Orton's babyfaces at the Survivor Series PPV. He could be easily replaced in the match if required.
