CM Punk returned to his analyst's chair after a two-week absence from WWE Backstage last night, bringing some big ideas for the ongoing saga between Rusev, Bobby Lashley, and Lana with him.

Fantasy booking the divisive programme all the way to WrestleMania 36, 'The Voice of the Voiceless' came up with a storyline in which Rusev and Lashley bond over the situation and become drinking buddies. They then decide to team up, leading to a bout against a new Lana-managed tandem at 'The Granddaddy of Them All,' with the former 'Ravishing Russian' suspended above the ring in a shark cage.

Punk then stated that absolutely everyone would be sick of Lana by this point. Thus, the losers would be forced to keep her as manager.

Amongst other things, Punk also touched on Seth Rollins' recent heel turn and alliance with AOP, saying WWE had found a way to make Rollins entertaining. He also joked about the NWO's Hall of Fame induction, claiming the ceremony would "continue to be illegitimate" until every single member was inducted. Shout-outs to Michael Wallstreet and Horace Hogan, then.
