A qualifying match for the World Heavyweight Championship match at Fatal 4-Way, Punk had just debuted a mask that covered his freshly shaven bald head. So, it's very possible that Punk was still adapting to wearing the mask during matches and simply had a hard time seeing through it. Combine that with the fact that these two just don't work well together and you have yourself a terrible outing from both men.
