CM Punk's 10 Worst WWE Matches

5. CM Punk vs. The Undertaker (Breaking Point 2009)

Coming off his fantastic feud with Jeff Hardy, CM Punk was undoubtedly the hottest heel in all of WWE in 2009. He was perfectly cast in his role as the preachy cult leader that insulted the fans and their shortcomings at every opportunity. With Hardy gone from the company, his next challenge as World Heavyweight champion was going to be against a returning Undertaker. Their feud was decent at best, but it really paled in comparison to what Punk and Hardy managed to accomplish that summer. They were set to go one-on-one with the title on the line in a Submission match at Breaking Point in Montreal. With this being their first ever one-on-one encounter, fans weren't sure what to expect from the two during their match. Despite how great both individuals are on their own, they've never had the best of chemistry together in the ring. As it turned out, it would be a clunker of a contest and the submission stipulation didn't help matters. To top it all off, WWE pulled a Montreal Screwjob 2.0 with referee Scott Armstrong calling for the bell before Undertaker could officially tap out to Punk's Anaconda Vise submission hold. It was in bad taste and was an unoriginal way of prolonging 'Taker's title win. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GN66N7t8WY Undertaker and Punk, fortunately, erased any memory of this match when they went out and stole the show at WrestleMania 29.
