Cody Rhodes Injured Ahead Of WWE Hell In A Cell?
Report: Rhodes hurt himself lifting weights recently, didn't compete Saturday night.
Cody Rhodes has reportedly sustained an injury just before his much-anticipated match against Seth Rollins inside Hell in a Cell at the eponymous PLE.
According to Dave Meltzer on Sunday's edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Rhodes reportedly suffered the injury while weight training last week. The story going around, Meltzer said, was that Rhodes suffered a torn pec, but that has not been confirmed.
Rhodes last wrestled in a dark match against Rollins after Raw on Monday night. He was scheduled to face Rollins in a street fight at Saturday night's house show in Champaign, Ill., but that didn't take place. Instead, Rollins faced Drew McIntyre, and Cody got involved with a run-in to chase Seth to the back.
Meltzer said the expectation from those he's spoken to is that Rhodes will still work Hell in a Cell Sunday night. To his credit, Cody tweeted just a few hours before the show, giving no indication he was planning to miss his HIAC match

Time will tell whether Cody suits up and guts it out. Considering that Hell in a Cell is basically built entirely by this third match between Rhodes and Rollins, it would be a tremendous blow if he can't go.
