Cody Rhodes Says Current WWE Star Could Headline WrestleMania 50
This heatseeker could be in WWE's main event plans a decade from now, according to Cody Rhodes.
Cody Rhodes sees a lot of parallels between himself and Dominik Mysterio. In fact, the current WWE Champ thinks 'Dirty Dom' is close to breaking out to become a company headliner for years to come. In a fun moment, Cody told DDP's YouTube channel that Dom Dom could main event WrestleMania 50.
Yes, fifty.
That's long-term booking, people. Rhodes said Mysterio is already "delivering on the most important level", and thinks WWE fans will get a kick out of seeing someone like Dominik grow up before their very eyes. Mysterio is already a heatseeker on Raw, but he'll only get better as a performer the longer time rolls on.
Cody can't wait to see what he's capable of next, and doesn't think anybody should be surprised if Dominik is still headlining the biggest PLEs of the year a decade from now. He's only 27 years old, and quite clearly enjoys being booed. Could Mysterio turn Judgment Day heat into a full-blown singles main event run?
The 'American Nightmare' thinks he can. It's official: Cody vs. Dominik at 'Mania 50. Y'know, when part-timer Rhodes stops by in between filming movies/TV shows. Only joking. Maybe!
