Cody Rhodes Still List On WWE's Internal WrestleMania 38 Card

WWE still has Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins pencilled in for WrestleMania 38.

Despite all the twists and turns the saga of Cody Rhodes' pro wrestling future has taken over the past few weeks, a bout pitting the former AEW EVP against Seth Rollins is still listed on WWE's internal WrestleMania 38 card.

This is according to Dave Meltzer on Sunday Night's Main Event. As of Friday, Rollins vs. Rhodes was still on the lineup, which Meltzer speculates could be an indication that Cody is signing with WWE. This is yet to be confirmed, though.

Rhodes' talks with WWE remain a closely-guarded secret within the company, even amongst those who know the internal WrestleMania card, who don't yet know if Cody will be on tonight's episode of Raw. Taking place in AEW's home base of Jacksonville, Florida, today's episode had previously been pinpointed as the one WWE was aiming to bring the former Stardust in for.

Rollins remains without an announced 'Mania opponent following his and Kevin Owens' failure to become Raw Tag Team Champions last week.

It is believed that Rhodes still has several offers on the table following his AEW departure last month, with at least one All Elite EVP feeling their former colleague is on his way to WWE. Perhaps tonight's episode of Raw will make things clearer.
