Cody Rhodes To Reveal WWE Plans On Raw Tomorrow
Expect to hear more from WWE returnee Cody Rhodes on tomorrow night's Raw.
Cody Rhodes mounted a sensational WWE return on WrestleMania 38's first night, working company stalwart Seth Rollins in a dazzling comeback bout after six years away from the promotion.
A match befitting the colossal stage concluded with Rhodes downing Rollins with his third Cross Rhodes finisher in a row (broken up by a Bionic Elbow in tribute to his father, Dusty). Now, Cody looks set to follow his triumphant return with an appearance on tomorrow's episode of Raw.
Speaking with David Shoemaker for The Ringer immediately after 'Mania 38's first night, Rhodes promised to unpack the events surrounding him bringing the 'American Nightmare' character synonymous with his AEW run to WWE (h/t Figure Four Online/Wrestling Observer):-
“I remember saying it had to be The American Nightmare. To hear Vince say ‘well it's not broke,’ it’s vindication to prove people wrong who doubted you and prove people right who were on board with you. I’m going to talk about it all on Raw, but it’s pretty clear what I am here to do, there’s unfinished business for my family that we never got, and I am going to be the one to get it.”
WWE has not yet announced Cody for Raw. It's not like he'll be short of things to talk about, though...
