The 2021 WWE Draft is in the books, with Vince McMahon's promotion completing its annual roster reshuffle on last night's episode of Raw after kicking things off on the 1 October SmackDown.

Both main roster brands are suitably refreshed. While last year's Draft was seen as a disappointment, with only 20 of the 50 televised picks placing wrestlers on new homes, this one was more transformative. 23 of the 40 picks made on Raw and SmackDown involved wrestlers moving from one show to another. The supplemental picks made on Raw Talk and Talking Smack brought this up further, leaving WWE's talent rosters much changed from before.

Going beyond Raw and SmackDown, three wrestlers assigned to NXT and one free agent were also involved in the Draft. The number of free agents that went unselected stretched into double figures, too, though most are explainable.

Whether or not these much-needed changes result in an upturn in main roster television quality remains to be seen. Regardless, WWE has at least given itself a fresh coat of paint with these new rosters, creating storytelling opportunities that didn't exist before.
