Dave Meltzer has today confirmed speculation that Mandy Rose was injured in a spot involving Nia Jax on last week's WWE Raw.

Rumours of an injury started swirling when Rose took a nasty bump to the outside after being thrown out of the ring by Jax, landing on her shoulder on the apron. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer has stated that Mandy is indeed suffering from an undisclosed issue stemming from that spot, having gotten caught in the ropes on her way to the outside.

Internally, Jax is not being blamed for the situation. This was a total accident.

There's currently no word on the severity of Rose's injury or how long she'll be out for, though it was bad enough for WWE to pull her from Team Raw ahead of this Sunday's Survivor Series 2020 pay-per-view. Rose's partner, Dana Brooke, was also taken out of the bout due to "injury," though hers is worked. Dana was ambushed by RETRIBUTION's Reckoning on last night's Raw.

Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce have replaced Rose and Brooke at Survivor Series. They'll team with Jax, Shayna Baszler, and Lana to face Team SmackDown.
