Corey Graves Thinks WWE Fans Are Tired Of Becky Lynch

Another spicy hot take from Graves' After the Bell podcast.

WWE colour commentator, podcaster, and general lightning rod Corey Graves has fired off all kinds of hot takes since his After the Bell show first hit the airwaves, and the SmackDown man had strong words for Becky Lynch on his latest show, stating that fans may be getting bored of the Raw Women's Champion.

"It is my concern that the WWE Universe is beginning to tire of 'The Man,'" he said. "This is historically a common occurrence in WWE. When someone reaches megastar status, people tire of them - look no further than John Cena, Roman Reigns, and Ronda Rousey."

Graves cited Seth Rollins as another example, noting the backlash he faced after unseating Brock Lesnar.

As far as potential solutions to the perceived problem go, Graves said: "It’s a cyclical business and maybe it’s time for an evolution, another step, another layer to ‘The Man.’"

He added, fairly, that while her character was once driven by not getting her dues, this doesn't work as well now that she's been Raw's top women's wrestler for the best part of a year. "I'm just wondering if we're beginning to see the rumblings of a bigger movement," he mused.
