Could THIS WWE Icon Return As Gable Steveson's Manager?

WWE might have the perfect debut program for Olympian Gable Steveson on Raw.

WWE chiefs are currently weighing up the prospect of bringing Kurt Angle in as Gable Steveson's manager.

Angle told 'Ad Free Shows' that he "doesn't know if [WWE] are going to give [him] a call sometime soon", but that he wouldn't be shocked if they did. Kurt even went so far as to suggest that he'd work as Gable's manager for a while before the Olympian eventually turned on him.

That'd mean WWE view Steveson as a potential heel in the mould of Angle himself back in the day, which is interesting; Kurt was originally set to debut as an inspiring babyface in late-1999, but the company pivoted to turn him into a 'wholesome jerk' who rubbed his Olympic success in the faces of fans.

Could such a role be in Gable's future too?

Angle still believes that Steveson "has some training to do" before he's ready for WWE television. Once Gable finishes up college and goes 100% with the company, then Kurt would be up for working something out.

Would you like to see Angle return as Gable Steveson's manager? Or, do you think Gable should debut on his own?
