WWE star Angel Garza has responded to fans calling him one of the company's "most wasted talents" in 2023.

The Los Lotharios tag-teamer quoted a comment from one fan on Twitter and said: "Thanks for that". Then, Angel went on to say that he'll "always stay ready for when the opportunity comes". That polite and professional response encouraged others in the comments to claim that WWE could be doing so much more with him.

Angel looked like a can't miss prospect when he first burst onto the NXT scene back in 2019. WWE didn't waste any time in bringing him up to the main roster in early-2020, but his fortunes have dipped spectacularly since then.

Creative stuck Garza in a tag-team with Humberto Carrillo in 2021, but the pair hasn't gone on to achieve any sort of success in the doubles division. In fact, they've been treated like enhancement workers on the whole, and were last spotted filling spots in the annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown before WrestleMania 39.

Before that, the duo lost in less than three minutes to fellow stragglers Hit Row on the 20 January 2023 edition of SmackDown.
