Current Star Says "Boiling Inside" Led To WWE Stable's Creation

A nasty WrestleMania experience caused this WWE star to think about "reinforcements".

Bayley has told Fightful she was left "boiling inside" over missing WrestleMania 37 back in 2021.

That event was the first time crowds filed in for a top WWE PLE during the COVID-19 pandemic, and it was a major bummer for Bayley to skip the weekender in-ring. Instead, she jousted on the mic with everyone from Hulk Hogan and Titus O'Neil to The Bella Twins.

Months later, agony struck and Bayley went down with a nasty ACL injury that caused her to miss approx one year of action. It was a miserable time for her all-round, but the Damage CTRL leader was left p*ssed that she'd been overlooked for 'Mania in the first place.

"Reinforcements" arrived in the form of IYO SKY and Dakota Kai at SummerSlam 2022, and that was timely. It was actually the best thing possible for Bayley, because she needed a jolt following the WrestleMania 37 disappointment and a year on the shelf rehabbing injuries.

Looking back, it did kinda suck to see someone who'd been so crucial to the women's division throughout the pandemic relegated to silly spots with legends at 'Mania.
