Current Star Says She Was Worried WWE Had Forgotten About Her

Sitting waiting on that Raw call up from WWE was tough on this female star.

Doudrop Eva Marie

Doudrop found out that she was WWE main roster bound on 1 March. Then, rather quickly, the ex-Piper Niven moved to the United States and plans were put in place for her to start working full time on Raw. That rapid turnaround suited the Scot.

WWE going radio silent on her debut? Not so much.

Eva Marie's old pal admitted to GiveMeSport that she started questioning whether or not WWE even remembered she was waiting patiently for news that her Raw bow was about to happen. "You guys know I'm here, yeah?". That's something she asked during phone conversations with company officials.

Doudrop understood why WWE were keeping things close to the vest, but she didn't actually make her debut until the 14 June edition of Monday night's flagship. That three-month wait must've been agonising for the former NXT UK star - she had no problem acknowledging that during the interview.

The newcomer was also perplexed when WWE brass told her their plans for a short run alongside Eva. Doudrop had no clue that Marie was even training for a return to pro wrestling.
