Current WWE Star Lifts Bill Goldberg's Catchphrase?!

It's probably just as well Goldberg isn't on WWE TV these days, because...yeah.

Shayna Baszler appeared to erm...borrow Bill Goldberg's iconic catchphrase on the latest episode of WWE's Raw Talk post-flagship breakdown.

The former MMA fighter told company cameras: "The question isn't what's next, it's who's next?". That surely wouldn't have happened had big Bill (not the AEW wrestler) still been knocking around on WWE programming. There's no way anyone would've slapped the green light on Shayna using that line.

Seriously though, it is fairly interesting that Baszler used Goldberg's famous phrase. It remains to be seen whether or not this will become part of her act, because that'd be bold - wrestling fans still associate "WHO'S NEXT?!" with Bill, and that may never change.

What's more, younger viewers know all about Goldberg's line because of his recent exploits in the modern era. Nobody else on the roster could really get away with using that wording without drawing comparisons to the ex-WCW brawler then.

Do not be surprised if this is something that vanishes from Shayna's act over the next few weeks. Either that or she'll start saying, "That's the bottom line, because 'Stone Cold' Shayna said so!" too.
