The 11 March 2022 episode of WWE SmackDown will live with Ridge Holland forever.

During that show, Ridge performed a belly-to-belly suplex on Big E, and the New Day man ended up suffering a broken neck. E hasn't been seen on company programming since, but Holland still regrets what happened.

He described it as "a massive knock to [his] confidence" during a chat with Metro. Ridge is thankful that E survived the incident and will make a full recovery - despite that, Holland is keen to eradicate the "stigma" attached to his involvement.

The Brit knows he has to "wash that stain off [his] back", and that the only way to do it is to get more in-ring reps and show what he can do between the ropes. Fans aren't the only ones that Ridge has to convince though; "building that trust up with the boys" is equally as important to him.

Holland has kept in touch with E since the accident, but believes he was "annoying him" by texting and calling so much. Now, Ridge's full focus is on restoring some credibility and moving on.
