If you were expecting to see a little of what Danhausen can actually do in a wrestling ring -- besides curse people -- on AEW Dynamite Wednesday night, you were likely disappointed.

But that doesn't mean AEW whiffed on the very nice, very evil wrestler's in-ring debut.

Danhausen competed against Tony Nese, but before things got started, "Smart" Mark Sterling distracted the demonic wrestler so he couldn't curse Nese. This allowed the Premier Athlete to blindside him and immediately put Danhausen down with the running knee for the pin.

Afterward, Nese hit the running knee again, then went to go for a third one... only for Hook to hit the ring and chase the villains off. And while chips might not be the secret to Hook's superpowers, the gift from Danhausen last week certainly seemed to melt the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil's heart, because this happened:

That handshake solidified AEW's Odd Couple, which got a huge reaction from the fans. It remains to be seen if this is a net positive for the young prodigy Hook, but fan reaction to these two so far has been overwhelmingly positive.

And we'll get to see the newly formed Hookhausen in action at the Double or Nothing buy-in, as they're slated to take on Nese & Sterling in a tag match.
