Daniel Bryan And Elias Qualify For Semi Finals Of WWE Intercontinental Title Tournament
AJ Styles Vs Shinksuke Nakamura and Jeff hardy Vs Sheamus will go down next week.
Last night's Friday Night SmackDown on FOX saw Daniel Bryan and Elias both qualify for the semi-finals of the Intercontinental Championship Tournament.
After Sami Zayn was stripped of his belt earlier this week, WWE quickly announced on social media that they would be holding a tournament to decide who would become the blue brand's next IC title holder.
On this week's SmackDown, Elias conquered his frequent sparring partner King Corbin early in the show and Bryan managed to get the better of his training partner Drew Gulak in a compelling first round contest.
Bryan will now face the winner of next week's battle between the resurgent Jeff Hardy and Sheamus in the next round of the tournament, whilst Elias will either be facing either Raw's AJ Styles or Shinsuke Nakamura in his semi final encounter.
