Following previous reports that John Cena is set to be the next guest on WWE Network's Broken Skull Sessions, it looks like we now have a date for the 16-time World Champion's sit-down with 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin.

As per WWENetworkNews, Cena will appear on Broken Skull Sessions in an episode that will premiere on Sunday 26 September - which is the same date as the upcoming Extreme Rules PPV.

Currently, WWE has yet to officially announce a date for the next Broken Skull offering or even announce Big Match John as Austin's next guest. That said, WWE Shop accidentally listed a poster depicting Steve Austin and John Cena in an "Eras Collide" graphic, with the text of "Attitude Era meets Ruthless Aggression" ahead of a Broken Skull Sessions appearance for John.

WWENetworkNews does add that the planned premiere date of this Cena episode could of course change, with Peacock and WWE Network not being the most reliable lately when it comes to sticking to initial air dates - as shown by how Kevin Nash's Broken Skull Sessions appearance was pushed back, or how the Lex Luger episode of WWE Icons has been indefinitely delayed.
