Dean Ambrose Vs Kevin Owens - Last Man Standing At WWE Royal Rumble 2016

Huge new match for Royal Rumble.

Dean Ambrose will defend his Intercontinental Title against Kevin Owens in a Last Man Standing match at the Royal Rumble. Confirmation of the bout was made in the opening segment of Smackdown, with Ambrose making the stipulation challenge and Owens accepting. It is an exciting booking, one that promises lots of action and hardcore spots. It certainly adds value to the Royal Rumble card, with the only other match confirmed so far being the Rumble itself. Ambrose and Owens have had some fun matches so far, and this latest bout looks to be the blow off on the feud. Both men are excellent pro wrestlers and you'd expect that they'll make the Last Man Standing effort their best match to date. In terms of result, an Ambrose victory is what would make the most sense. He's strongly over as an upper mid-card babyface. As for Owens, he could be set for a feud with Sami Zayn. The talented NXT star is ready for the main roster, and was meant to be called up last year before going out injured. Owens and Zayn had unfinished business, and it would be a great addition to see the next instalment of their feud as an undercard match at WrestleMania.
