After battling Rosemary at last night’s Against All Odds special, Deonna Purrazzo is still IMPACT Wrestling’s Knockouts Champion.

The co-main event, the Virtuosa emerged victorious in a barn-burner of a bout after countering Rosemary’s Red Wedding into the Costa Nostra Piledriver.

Purrazzo is in her second reign as Knockouts Champ, having initially defeated Jordynne Grace for that prize back at last year’s Slammiversary PPV. October saw Deonna drop the belt to Su Yung, but she would regain the title just one month later.

Since commencing her second run as Knockouts Champion, Purrazzo has successfully retained against the likes of Taya Valkyrie (nowadays known as NXT’s Franky Monet), ODB, Jazz, Tenille Dashwood, Havok and Rosemary.

Bizarrely, Deonna’s time under the WWE banner came to an end in April 2020 - as part of the company's mass releases - with the creative team reportedly having deemed her not ready for TV. Since then, the hugely talented grappler has gone on to prove herself as one of the very best female wrestlers in the game right now - and someone who could've done wonders on Raw, SmackDown or NXT if fully given an opportunity to do so.
