WWE has something big in the works for The Usos following Jimmy's return on last week's episode of SmackDown.

Per WrestlingNews.co's Paul Davis, WWE has devised a months-long plan involving Roman Reigns' growing faction, with The Usos set to come back together and win the SmackDown Tag Team Championships from a babyface duo.

Those belts are currently held by The Dirty Dawgs of Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler. If the above plans hold true, the Dawgs would need to drop the straps to facilitate The Usos' rise. Ziggler and Roode are currently booked to put them on the line against Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania Backlash this Sunday (16 May).

Jimmy returned during SmackDown's opening segment last week, hugging brother Jey. He later drew the ire of Reigns by helping Cesaro (whom Roman faces at WrestleMania Backlash) defeat Seth Rollins, superkicking Rollins when he shoved Jey during a match with the Swiss Superman. Jimmy talked back rather than falling in line, saying he wouldn't be treated like Roman treats Jey.

The night's closing segment then saw Jimmy come to Jey's aid once more, trying to help his brother as he attempted to save Reigns from Cesaro. This ended poorly and Cesaro closed the show on top.
