Disappointed WWE Star Says He "Cares Too Much Sometimes"

There was no Royal Rumble berth for this passionate WWE star. He found that disappointing.

Cesaro was very disappointed that WWE didn't stick him in last weekend's 30-man Royal Rumble match.

The SmackDown star told Sports Illustrated that he appreciated comments from Big E (who said in interviews before the pay-per-view that he'd like to see Cesaro win the Rumble) and others, but that he was left a little sour on the night when WWE didn't include him.

When pressed for more, Cesaro said: "I do care. A lot". He then added that he cares "maybe almost too much sometimes". That's a pretty heart-breaking admission, because it suggests that the pro wrestling machine will never be able to please WWE's decision-makers the way he'd like.

The dude just wants to wrestle!

Cesaro has been spotted teaming with Mansoor on Friday nights recently. He also had a short feud opposite old partner Sheamus and his new pal Ridge Holland. The gig with Mansoor is a definite drop down from programs vs. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in 2021.

Hearing the man say that he cares "too much sometimes" is pretty damning on WWE's system. His passion definitely isn't rewarded the way it should be.
