Do You Miss Alexa Bliss' Old WWE Gimmick? She Does Too...

No, not the Goddess...

Not for the first time in her current run, Alexa Bliss has indicated that she misses one of her old WWE characters. This time, it's the 'Fiend'-adjacent gimmick she had been playing prior to taking time away from the promotion in September 2021.

Yesterday saw the multi-time Women's Champion quote-tweet a fan stating that they missed "Dark Alexa Bliss."

Alexa's response was to the point:-

Bliss last stated that she missed her former self in May, doing so shortly after returning to the ring. Her current character resembles a straightforward babyface with a handful of motifs from her time alongside Bray Wyatt. Specifically, Alexa still carries her toy doll, Lilly, to the ring, despite Charlotte Flair tearing it to pieces at Extreme Rules 2021.

Charlotte's act of aggression toward Lilly served as a catalyst for Bliss to take some time off. Having operated in and around Wyatt's supernatural realm since the summer of 2020, when the two characters were aligned on television, she came back to WWE at Elimination Chamber 2022 this September. Participating in the titular women's bout, Alexa then disappeared for another three months before re-emerging in May.

When she did, Bliss had shorn much of what tethered her to Bray, who was released by WWE in July 2021.
