... probably not, no.

Fightful Select reports that although Adam Copeland and Ricky Starks' interactions on the 14 October episode of AEW Collision had people talking about potential heat between the two, this doesn't appear to be reflected backstage.

Copeland and Starks took a few shots at each other during the show-opening promo, including Ricky referencing Copeland's WWE ring name, Edge, for a barb. Fightful notes that following the segment, there doesn't appear to be any backstage heat.

It was noted that Copeland doesn't typically get "rattled" by such promos. In this situation, the AEW newcomer, who has written his own promo material going back to his WWE run, was "just trying to give back what was given to him."

Starks wasn't upset either, with the AEW World Tag Team Champion saying that Copeland's lines weren't "anything he hasn't heard before."

AEW sources aren't concerned about things becoming unprofessional should Copeland and Starks get involved in another promo battle. One commented that he probably shouldn't have used his "vanilla midget" line against Starks, but beyond that, Copeland has received positive reviews for his work in the company thus far.
