Dominik Mysterio To Face Edge Next Week On WWE Raw

Newest Judgment Day devotee to continue the war against Edge.

One way or another, Dominik Mysterio is going to grow up on television next week.

Hamstrung as "Rey's son" since debuting on the Raw roster, Dominik finally broke from his father at Clash at the Castle last weekend, turning on Rey and Edge after their victory against Judgment Day.

During his first couple of years, the younger Mysterio has been referred to and characterized as a child, despite being the same age as several accomplished superstars on the same roster. That's an unfortunate side effect of being the son of a living legend on the same roster.

Now standing on his own, Dominik joined up with Judgment Day Monday night, and Rhea Ripley issued a challenge to Edge on his behalf, setting up a match pitting the Rated-R Superstar against someone he has known since he was a 5-year-old kid. Edge made that very point during his show-opening promo.

As Edge noted before Judgment Day took him out, Dominik is old enough to drive, drink, wrestle and be responsible for his own actions. That means getting in the ring and facing the man he low-blowed last weekend.
