Don Callis Done As IMPACT Wrestling EVP?
Callis has been in the role with Scott D'Amore for three and a half years.
Don Callis could be done as co-Executive Vice President of IMPACT Wrestling. 'The Invisible Hand' is no longer listed on Anthem Sports and Entertainment's official website, while Scott D'Amore is.
Callis and D'Amore have been in the role since December 2017, making significant changes to the Anthem-helmed promotion that have brought a resurgence in popularity to the company. As well as handling the day-to-day operations of IMPACT, Don also served as a colour commentator for IMPACT's programming beginning at the 2018 Redemption pay-per-view, ultimately being replaced by Madison Rayne.
More recently, Callis has had a stronger on-screen presence through his affiliation to Kenny Omega and the Good Brothers. Officially turning heel and siding with Omega at All Elite Wrestling's Winter Is Coming event, the new side to Callis has seen him and D'Amore on different pages, bringing into question if Callis is actually still an IMPACT executive.
As for D'Amore, his role on Anthem's website lists him as being responsible for IMPACT's operations, production, talent relations, and live events, as well as assisting in IMPACT's Spike TV launch and the creation of the knockouts division.
Expect more on this in the coming days; Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has stated he heard more on the story.
